So this illustration is of a Robin Hood-type group of outlaws who are being ambushed. The illustration was supposed to be of a procession, and I wanted something with a lot of movement and immediacy, so this theme worked well. I think some of the background figures still need refining, they were a bit too small for me to detail in wet on wet oil paint.

These were done for an assignment where we had to create a visual metaphor for a company’s annual report. I chose Gap and how they invest in communities to help them grow. 1 full page illustration, and 2 spot illustrations.
Done for class as a tonal study for a 16″x32″ painting. Cropped a bit on the top and bottom (the edges got a bit ripped from the tape I used to hang it up in class).
Just done for my own amusement.
